Chunky Monkeys, and sick, too
Lowell at 2 years old – 34 inches tall (we guessed, so he could be a little taller than 34 inches), 25.8 pounds and a student nurse did the measurements and didn’t write down the percentiles, but the doctor said them … 80th for one of those and 70th for the others… (I checked online and online has him at the 25th percentile for everything but his head, which is in the 80th percentile.) I had a hard time believing them since there are 1 year olds we know that are bigger than Lowell. Plus, I just don’t care anymore what percentile what falls into.
Korben at 2 weeks – 24 inches, 13 pounds 8 ounces, 16.25 inches head. Also, I think she said 90th percentile but I didn’t get it in writing and my mommy brain is fried three times over.
Lowell has a double ear infection as a side effect from the virus so he is on antibiotics now. I got it banana flavored so he’s actually willing to take it.
Korben is ill and sleepy and snotty and coughing and generally not doing well. We’re praying that he won’t come down with a fever or pneumonia (from all the congestion).
