I planted the garden today. Around 11 am. It was a nice crisp day with little sunlight and I figured the tender 8 inch tall tomato plants would do well to get their roots into deeper soil on a day like today. They got kind of floppy after a light watering with the hose to settle the dirt.

Before!

For weeks now, they’ve been growing indoors. I feel like they’re my little babies, having started from just seeds. And by planting them in the ground, I set them free – gave them to God to be His tomato plants. And this is what He did with them. The sound was tremendous. We hid in a hallway and prayed that the windows wouldn’t break. Thankfully, the boys thought it was fun even though Mommy was shaking! It’s 10:30 PM and our backyard is still covered in iceballs “Shivery gumballs, Mommy!”
