Cook-out

Yum
Dave says that last picture is what grilling will be like in heaven. Except maybe an angel will be doing the grilling, and it probably will not be gas grilling and instead be something more awesome than our dream grill. (Yes, we’re charcoal grillers, not gas — though Dave could probably very easily be converted to this kind of grilling.)
All that to say, I don’t think that’s what grilling will be like in heaven. Maybe there won’t even BE grilling in heaven, what with all the fire and smoke and all that.
The kids, of course. These two are dark haired second-borns whose older brothers have the light hair. Gotta love the dark and handsome ones!
I don’t think Korben will sit this still when we get around to starting him on solids. He is already grabbing the silverware out of my hands while I try to eat dinner and I’m not even feeding him. M, on the other hand, is sitting there like a perfect angel.
Dave was at a concert so I didn’t get nearly as many pictures as I wanted to. Thankfully, the mommies all helped me out by holding Korben so I did get some pics. Here they are.
Yes, I totally caught K in a model pose. TOO CUTE.
James ran around like crazy. In his new cape. Forgive me but I had to take lots of him. He is my boy, afterall.
Some of those are totally blurry because the EF 50mm f/1.8 II is *not* a fast lens, lacking a USM and all. If you had been there, though, you would say that the blurriness totally captures the way the kids were EVERYWHERE all at once, especially the James Superhero one. He slept really well Tuesday night. ;-)
WELCOME
Hi there. Welcome to davejenbarnes.com! This is a story of a guy & a gal who fell in love, got married, and settled in the the ATX area.
