Linkage

I just listed my first #FF over on twitter and that inspired me to do a longer list over here on the ole blog. I’ve never listed a bunch of links here before, so this is a first for me. Here are some places I’m really loving hanging out surfing at night lately so I thought I would share.
Parenting/Homeschooling/Crafty
- Little Austinite – a friend of mine started up this site and it’s a great resource for the Austin area when you’re looking for kid-friendly places to go
- Gentle Christian Mothers (forum) – I’ve really enjoyed reading and learning from like-minded moms about raising my boys to become Jesus-loving men.
- Through the forum above, I found Megan who blogs on both her personal blog and also at SimpleKids, which is the sister site to SimpleMom
- growinginpeace (blog) – TONS of ideas for preschool activites for homeschooling
- Soule Mama – loving the crafts she has done here and I’m also planning on getting her books!
- Purl Bee – great knitting/crochet/patchwork and quilting ideas and inspiration here
Photography/Resources/Photogs I admire
- ilovephotography.com (forum) – a must visit filled with tutorials and advice if you’re seriously considering going into photog business
- PetaPixel – great general photography place to find lots of interesting links
- understanding Sharpening – Even though Lightroom is no longer in the 1.1 stage, this is still a relevant article about sharpening your images
- Josh Solar (the animal post) – holy cow, wow.
- Betsy King – not so much her portraiture (which is amazing) but her family “snapshots” of her kid and family, just stunning!
- Kathryn Krueger – my brother second-shoots for Kathryn

WELCOME
Hi there. Welcome to davejenbarnes.com! This is a story of a guy & a gal who fell in love, got married, and settled in the the ATX area. Somewhere along the way, we had three boys, adopted a cat, and bought a house. We're excited to share our everyday adventures. Thanks for visiting!FAVORITE CATEGORIES

Thanks for the link! I’m glad you like the doggie posts. I really love being able to help them find a good home :)
Josh, If I lived in Kansas City, the kitty in b/w would totally be snuggling in my house right now.
