"A very good day."

We made a quick drive up to Temple yesterday to join Grandma and Grandpa at a model train show. James has almost outgrown the train loving stage (if that’s possible) but Lowell was in Heaven. Korben missed his nap and I wasn’t holding him but I hear from Grandpa that he was making train sounds. Woo-woo!

I walked around with a bunch of cameras (three if you must know, but one of them was my parents’ camera) and took gobs and gobs of pictures so we could share this time with y’all and also remember what fun it was. Our favorites were the “fast moving train” and all of the little Percy and Thomas trains. We got to see a couple of train wrecks and lots of people. This was a very fun outting and we’ll probably make a date of it every year now that Day Out With Thomas isn’t coming back to downtown Austin.

In order to post this quickly (blogging takes a lot of time!) I’m going to add a slideshow below. If you’re seeing this via RSS, you’ll probably have to click over to my website in order for it to show up. Press play to start. Enjoy!

P.S. I can’t find a slideshow option that will display the images 800 pixels wide without greatly diminishing the resolution. I guess it’s time to learn how to make my own slideshows in Adobe Flash CS3.
