Combat Comment Spam

Due to Mark’s recent update of anti-spam stuff, I have researched the hundreds of anti-spam plugins for WordPress and will be trying a few out in the next few weeks… when I understand them and what they do exactly!

We get a lot of comment spam and WordPress’s built-in spam catchers have caught every single one so far. Way to go WordPress!

    If WordPress is catching all your spam, why are you looking for a plugin?

    So I don’t have to manually delete it. I still have to read all the crap that gets spammed to delete it! I think I’ve settled on a plug-in that deletes all the spam containing words I’ve blacklisted so I won’t have to go in and delete like 450 messages at once… they just won’t get added at all.
