We’re looking forward to seeing our family over the next few weeks. The boys love their Uncle Jerry so much. He’s the best brother I could have ever ended up getting stuck with, you know, since we don’t get to choose our siblings and all. hehe! He doesn’t show up much on my blog, but I love my bro and he gets along so well with all of my boys. I hope we get to spend some time goofing off with him this coming Christmas break.
I’m going to keep my business logo on the ones that I fully retouch. I took some dirty socks off the floor in post on this one, heh. How’s that for housekeeping? In case you’re wondering, there were two off camera speedlites in our living room set up to bounce off of the low ceiling. One was just behind me slightly to camera right and the other was to camera left, back a ways. The IR transmitter gets around well enough in our little house to allow them to work despite the non-line-of-sight I had going on with the speedlite behind me, though normally you would need a radio transmitter for that to work. 1/60 sec, ISO 100, f/3.5, 35mm
I find it hilarious that you have speedlites set up in your living room! Is that a permanent fixture?? lol! j/k Great shot!
Haha, Dawn… but it is SO dark in here and the sun sets so early these days, I use every bit of help that I can get. They’re not permanent but I did figure out the “sweet spots” to get a good exposure from almost any angle.
I can’t get enought of those sweet curls!
