24 week doctors appointment

Well, I didn’t get my blood pressure, but my net weight gain is 0 and the little Barnes’s heart was beating around 150, and he/she had the hiccups. I discussed my weight gain and the doctor said I’m on the up and up… meaning at least I’m not still losing weight. She said she would not be surprised if there was a 4 week period of time in which I gain 15 pounds! ack!

The next 4 weeks is my last 4 week stretch between appointments… I’ll start going every 2 weeks after April 20th! Next appointment is also the glucose screening… where I have to fast the day of and then go in early (and take some entertainment) and drink the sweet sweet concoction of goo and have some blood drawn. The only bad thing is that due to the fasting part, all this has to take place in the morning… and due to it being in the morning, I have to go by myself. I have been warned that I may feel week and dizzy afterwards… lets pray that doesn’t happen!

I also have a few more weeks to find a pediatrician and I think I’m going to go with one of the three in a practice where they all graduated from Baylor Med school. Go Bears Go. How ’bout those Lady Bears?!

So far so good on all accounts.
