ah, it would be nice

I’m surfing while David is teaching at school.. by this time he should have already had his class. I hope and pray that this school year will be the beginning of a long and satisfying career for him at LISD. He emailed me which means he knows how to get into the mail program there.

Last night was rough. 3 am. late night. Boy, am I glad I’m not going to be there much longer. I don’t know how people can work retail and like it. Now I know why the mall closes so early each night. Not to get the kids home — when the mall closes, target gets busier — but to allow them to start cleaning up the mess left by the mob of shoppers.

On other topics, because who likes hearing about work, David’s parents came down. It was really tough finding time to visit because of the work schedule, but we did manage to go to Macaroni Grill for “lunch” on Sunday (actually it was my breakfast). Macaroni Grill has strange food. I don’t think I like it there, besides the bread, but David always manages to find something that I’ll at least nibble on. Maybe I should have him order for me whenever we go there again.
