Every minute I am thankful that I have my family close to me. I can’t imagine the lives of so many Louisianans this past week and how permanently different people they have become because of Katrina. Every time I nurse James I am amazed at the miracle of life yet every time I see the devastation on the news I am saddened by the reality of death.
Church will be memorable tomorrow. It will be James’ first time attending as well as the first sermon after Katrina hit. I should remember to take Puffs Plus with me. It will likely be a very moving service if I get the opportunity to sit through it.
James is sleeping right now, so I am going to try to sleep at the same time. He’s started giving us 5 hour stretches but if I stay up late after him, I still only get a 3 or 4 hour stretch.
