Share Video at DropShots.com

This video is an old one we just got off the camera. I wanted to try out the site with a video. Leave comments if it doesn’t work for you! Hopefully this will be better than everyone having to go out and download Quicktime 7…

Thanks, Shannon, for the cool site!

I love it! played nicely. He’s so cute! I forgot what its like to have smaller baby. We got a camcorder in December, but haven’t bought the cord yet to move our videos to the computer. I wonder if dropshots would work on blogspot?? (never thought I’d hear that sentence coming out of my technology challenged self…)

Video works fine. I’m using firefox 1.5 on XP (at work) and I didn’t have to install any plugins.

If you purchase QuickTime Pro (~$30), then you can save the movie in a variety of formats, including windows formats like avi, wmp, etc.

The whole reason I wanted to go streaming is so I wouldn’t have to worry about what other people had as far as video players and therefore what file format I have to save it as to make it work … this is easier all the way around without people having to install stuff on their computers.

I’ll go ahead and fess up about the Quicktime 7 bathtime video. I was so pumped that I could save something using the H.264 codec, that I just had to do it. I am absolutely amazed at the quality of the video in relation to its file size. It would behoove everyone who enjoys video to have Quicktime 7 at any rate.
