Today Korben turns 13 months old. I’ve been nursing for three years and two months of my life. That is a dang lotta milk. Moo.

You’d probably rather just see the photos, huh? Here are the last three days’ shots:

I had fun getting this shot, so it’s my picture of the day.

Lowell was laughing SO hard. It’s so uncharacteristic of him to be laughing, so we drink it up when it happens. This was the single, only photo I took on Wednesday. Sometimes you just get lucky. Doubly lucky. Laughing Lowell AND I caught it with the camera.

I found this in our bathroom. David must have been nice and stuck the latest knitpicks catalog in with the magazines instead of tossing it, as most catalogs go straight into the trash. I flipped over to the back cover and … WOW. I must knit this! I don’t know how long it will be for sale up on their website, but I’m hoping to convince David that we really *can* afford it and that I really *will* knit it. (someday – wink!)

NOTE: the images in this feed have been removed for copyright reasons. To see them in their unmodified state, please view the original post by clicking here.

Today was absolutely gorgeous. One of those days that should be famous for being perfect. I’d like to report that I took the boys outside for the entire day and we relished in the freedom and fresh air, but I’d be lying. I didn’t realize it was beautiful outside until 2/3rds of them were asleep. Yep. Asleep. Lowell is back to taking naps. I even took one, too. I haven’t felt this good in a long time and you could probably tell if you came over. The house hasn’t been this clean and orderly for a very long time. I actually think I’ve been depressed. Not over anything… just the baby blues. He’s so needy. Even still.

So I missed the gorgeous weather outside with the boys but I opened the windows. I sat down to knit and glanced up at the open window moving the sheers around and this is what I saw. Drop dead beautiful. Stunning.

I have to admit that I’m just trying to get glipses of every day here. I’m not attempting to improve my photography skills by leaps and bounds or run with a theme per week. I’m just trying to notice things around me and take pictures of the little things. The mundane. The every day. I would like to attempt to capture pictures in my 365 that aren’t staged and that usually cannot or are not repeated. My goal is to take something from every single day and record it. This window scene will look a lot different come summer. The sun will be in a totally different place in the sky and I most certainly will not have the windows open.

I’m hoping for some sunny, warm-ish weather tomorrow so I can take the boys out front and open up the driveway. We had a pipe burst (frozen) and our garage is quite damp and David has begun to worry about mold, so we should probably take steps to encourage it to dry out in there.
