Lots more almost ready! We had these with dinner tonight and they were delicious. Also, here are a few of Korben “protecting” the house.
Praise the Lord! We had a rainy day this week and for awhile there, I had flashbacks of the hailstorm 2 years ago, so I covered up the garden. It didn’t hail, thankfully.

Yep. We’re homebodies. (This is *not* a complaint.) I’m lucky if I get out of the house more than once a week with the boys (not counting small group on Tuesday night) and I rarely take them shopping. So it’s no wonder that my house constantly looks like this:

David has been quite the handyman these days. This house was a foreclosure and part of that meant that it came “as is” which meant we had a kitchen missing a drawer, a section of the fence outside down, a broken trash can (one of those big special ones from the city), no garage door [...]
James uses the phrase, “this day” instead of “today.” He also knows what Lowe’s is and always asks us when he sees either a Lowe’s store or a Lowe’s rental truck, “Are we going to Lowe’s this day?”

As you can see, we just had some rain pass over us. We’re in the vicinity of the word “Leander” and I’m amazed that it’s in the mid-70′s outside where it’s still the mid 90′s just down the road [...]
We have started emptying the boys’ bath water into buckets at night and then pouring the “greywater” on the mulch around the base of the trees and we are amazed at how about 5 gallons per night per tree is resulting in new growth all over both trees. I say trees, but they’re [...]
