Disclaimer: Since I’m on a roll blogging trips I was blessed with in 2011 – which is more than we’ve ever had in a single year for all twelve years of our marriage – I thought I should go ahead and blog the Chicago pics, too, to get those out of my system all at [...]
(Find the first half of our trip here.)
After staying on Oahu for the better part of a week, we packed up and flew from Honolulu to Hilo. The differences were amazing. The coqui frogs are LOUD! Hilo was not nearly as touristy as Honolulu! [...]
Just found this picture, sort-of, and had to share it. I love that boy so much. This is a pull-back from a quick set-up I did in my garage of the boys in February of 2011. The actual picture files are gone, but I was able to clip these screenshots from Lightroom’s memory. I cropped [...]
It never ceases to amaze me… How sore I am the day after working a wedding. I have joined Doberenz Photography as a videographer. (I went to high school with Allen and his wife, Elisa, so some of you readers might also have known Allen.) We had a gorgeous large wedding [...]
Yesterday, I pulled James out of school for a family field trip (minus Dave; he had to teach). We headed downtown to the Long Center to experience the Architects of Air Luminarium display, Mirazozo, with a group of professional photographers here in the Austin area. One of them set us up as [...]
Remember when God said “Not Yet” to a prayer of mine? The first week of January, He changed His answer. I didn’t think it was the right time — I had to work a wedding that same day and it would mean leaving the house at 8:30 AM without getting home until after 11… [...]
I’ve been busy. Very utterly totally busy. The family blog has gotten left behind… sorry about that. Here’s a picture from Monday night to give you an insight to what I’ve been doing.
This was the same day as the previous post but I totally forgot to come back to the blog and add them. We don’t often go to this splash park because it’s super crowded, kinda big, and not secure (not enclosed) but it was fun for a visit.
. . . of letting the contents of my purse sit up here as the first post on the blog for as long as it did.
. . . I also had no intention of getting the boys white tee-shirts and dark jeans and taking some bluebonnet pictures but I did that, too.
[...]
I’m photographing four year old triplets this weekend in addition to assisting Dawn at a wedding and I just have to get it out – I am so nervous I think I might be sick to my tummy! Not the wedding… that will be fine. But the triplets! Talk about pressure. I know it will [...]
… have been beautiful
… have been full
… are not going to last
… the boys are still so very little
… there is magic
… are filled with moments too sweet to let pass by
… I am in love with the moments
… are going [...]
Shortly after I posted the last blog post, I got a message on Facebook from a high school friend of mine (I was going to say old high school friend but that doesn’t sound right and simply wouldn’t be very polite of me. Also, my friends from high school are all about the same age [...]
