James Michael Barnes was born on July 19th at 5:58 AM. He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 inches long!
Stay tuned for more to come.
I have to post something… I am addicted to updates…
Contractions are here. They hurt. They’re regular. They’re 8-10 minutes apart so we are staying home for the time being. I’ve been having them since around 10 am, so it’s almost 2 pm here … that’s four hours worth … I’m going to take a [...]
Three days late. Felt great today. We went to church (late service) and everybody was so friendly. Normally I feel invisible but I guess this big ‘ol belly catches attention. Plus everybody thought our due date was Friday!
No signs this morning though about 2 hours ago, the contractions started up again and have become [...]
I discovered a plug-in for WordPress which creates photo albums from flickr using API something-or-other. bloodpressure 110/80
baby’s heartbeat very strong
weight gain of 16 pounds overall…
So… I am ready to go at any moment. About [...]

We shall not meet the baby.
Maybe tomorrow.
3.
We had fun just now.
Garageband, mic, and iBook
Recorded heartbeat
Be careful about the volume [...]
Well, just like it looks like our baby is not going to be delivered on schedule, NASA says on their Return to Flight webpage:
Today’s Return to Flight launch of Space Shuttle Discovery has been postponed due to an issue with a low-level fuel cutoff sensor. The sensor protects an orbiter’s main engines [...]
No, I haven’t had this baby yet, though if you called, you would be one of 3 people who have called. I guess most of you are relying on us to call you or just reading this here blog or chatting online with us during the day. Whatever the case, we’ve only had a few [...]
