The fundal height is measuring at in at 16 weeks’ size. The midwife moved my due date back to March 4. I need to eat more protein. I gained 2-3 pounds which puts me at 115-116. The midwife said that didn’t count because my “normal” weight was 115 but really I have no earthly idea [...]
I’ll be adding more movies to our YouTube account over the next few nights. Unfortunately, the way WP 2.0.1 is set up with the WYSIWYG text editor, I can’t embed the videos in the post without logging into Cpanel and going into the mySQL database. That seems like a lot of work to me [...]
Teething poo, not just any poo. All the time, neverending, rash-inducing poo. It’s got us confined to the apartment in fear of having to change a dipe in public. It’s got us slave to the Ivory soap wash after every “change.” It’s got us living in crisis mode. I can’t wait for things to get [...]
We’ll be 18 weeks along on Sunday. Believe it or not, the belly button is already starting to pop. It never popped with James but it also never shrunk back to its previous size.
I’ve always been guessing on James’ weight since we sold our bathroom scale at a garage sale when we lived in Rio Grande City. At one year old, he weighed almost 23 pounds and we expected him to slow down quite a bit when his pediatrician said she only expected him to gain [...]

James has some new shoes. With socks, he’s a stride-rite size 5.5XW which should fit him for some time to come. Hopefully at least three more months.
We have movement. I started feeling it last night right before I fell asleep and have been feeling baby movements all morning.
*grin*
Oh, and by the way:
So James is up to 14 teeth now and working on his 2 lower cuspids. These teeth are not nearly as bad as his molars were, but that is only because he is getting them 2 at a time instead of all 4 in one go. Once they actually poke through, he seems to be [...]
So today is the first Saturday we haven’t had choc-full of plans (and that we have enough food cash budgeted to go out somewhere to eat) since our friends, the Millers, moved. Guys, if you read this, we’re missing you big-time this Saturday in Austin.
UPDATE: In case anybody is wondering, we ended up [...]
David and James and I took a nice afternoon stroll through Round Rock’s Memorial Park after some lunch. We were both really impressed with this one. There were lots of trees and a playground that boasted two play areas (one for ages 2-5 and the other marked for ages 5-12) and a [...]
This morning, James and I visited the Kensington Park playground in Round Rock. It’s located here and isn’t all that far from where we live, though driving somewhere is certainly not James’ favorite way of getting anyplace these days.
The playground is wooden and is marked for ages 5-12, though I doubt I [...]
