James is still sick. Â Probably worse than ever. Â He hasn’t eaten anything in a long time. Â He did eat some lunch but immediately threw up after swallowing it. Â I got up twice last night to give him tylenol and at midnight, he had to pee and wanted more water to drink. Â At least he is [...]
His fever was up to 103.5º today, taken in his armpit so it may have actually been higher than that. Lowell started showing signs of not feeling well during dinner, so we’re going to be quarantining the kids for a couple of weeks while this virus runs its course.
Also? I never noticed [...]
Here is the video from my mom from the other day. Lowell will be walking on his own pretty soon. Unfortunately, for him, pretty soon could be either days from now or a month from now so there’s no telling.
My mom watched the boys yesterday while I made a trip with her truck back to the duplex to bring a load of stuff over. Â She took a really cute video which I will eventually try to get embedded here but for now, I wanted to post a peek into the new house.
That, [...]
LISD is switching from Humana to something else… I’m waiting to hear from David to see if the whole family can be put on the same plan. Â It would be great to have maternity coverage (and pregnancy cannot count as a pre-existing condition) even if it wouldn’t start until September.
Still no prenatal appointments either [...]
Because a stray, or not a stray but one of the neighbors’ cats who is basically wild, got into our garage and decided to spray something with it’s piss. There are several things wrong with this. First off, I’m very sensitive to odors, because I’m pregnant. Secondly, because I’m pregnant, I am not supposed to [...]
More pictures coming soon! We move in on Saturday and hopefully we’ll have our camera with us when it happens.
Check back soon to see if we survive moving with two little boys and a pregnant momma. I have my doubts.
Lowell is weaned at long, sweet, last. Â Last Friday was the last time… his choice. Â On Saturday, at naptime, I offered. Â He put it in his mouth, then not, then sat up and looked at me with his HUGE puppy dog eyes and those mile long eyelashes and nodded “No.” Â I haven’t offered since and [...]
Here is a rather boring picture of our next unnecessary purchase. Â We don’t need it as we already have a perfectly decent mattress but this pregnant lady CANNOT STAND that our perfectly decent mattress sinks in the middle. Â I feel like I’m sleeping on the side of a steep hill and I wake up several [...]
for David.
He left here at something like 4 am and will be gone with hundreds of other parents’ children for an entire Saturday of music and fun. Â I don’t know the details, but he was wearing a suit and had a bag of jeans/tee/tennis shoes/sunscreen with him, so there must be a performance then [...]
James is potty trained. I think I forgot to mention it on the blog. It kinda just happened. We did nothing special; James did all the work and kept the motivation going for himself. I’m glad it was easy because I was not going to pretend to be excited over something I expected of him. [...]
